The machinist is responsible for manufacturing custom parts and production parts, they must interpret the drawings and ensure that the parts meet the customer’s requirements. They will be called upon to work on a lathe and CNC machining center.

• Read and interpret plans and specifications;
• Perform set ups;
• Operate a production machine and make adjustments to the machine;
• Use metrology tools (vernier, micrometer, etc.), inspect measurements and deburr.

• Important interpersonal qualities (integrity, support, teamwork and customer focus);
• Demonstrates a good sense of organization, rigor and a good working method, while having a good speed of execution and being attentive to the quality of his work;

• Demonstrates good (safe) practices in the performance of their duties.
